1. The following types of information is being collected at CoolClub4Girlz.com:

   Personal information such as email address, name, address, city, state, zip code and country.

   A cookie is used to identify return visitors, and to identify new visitors. Cookies are also used when goods are placed within one of our online shopping carts to identify the customer.

   An email address is asked for when the visitor signs up to receive our monthly newsletter. The visitor can also send an 'invitation' to a friend by entering their name, their friend's name, and their friend's email address. The newsletter is published monthly. CoolClub4Girlz.com reserves the right to send additional emails to the registrants including, but not limited to the monthly newsletter.

   Referrer information - that is, where the visitor came from - if available, is also collected.

2. What we do with the information we collect:

Personal information will not be sold or given away to any third party. CoolClub4Girlz.com, while being a "commercial" site (since we sell items geared for a female audience between the ages of eight to thirteen), is devoted to being a safe site first, a fun site second, and a commercial venture last. We will market our own site to those who register to receive our online newsletter, order products from us, enter contests with us or send us email via the 'Email Nichole!' web page (click here to view it), or through regular email. 

However, let us make perfectly clear that until further notice: 

"No personal information gathered on this will be sold, forwarded to third parties, or be provided to third parties outside of the CoolClub4Girlz.com family of web sites."

We also extend the opportunity to allow anyone to:

1. View whatever information we have about themselves or in the case of a parent , information supplied by a child(ren), upon satisfactory proof of identity; 

2. Provide the opportunity to delete the information we have gathered about themselves or their child(ren) from our databases.

 If our policy should change in any "material way", according to the the 1998 COPPA law, we will contact all parties whose information we have in our databases and inform them of the change in policy, and extend the same opportunites we extend at all times to all of our visitors as outlined above in section 2, "What we do with the information we collect", subsection 1 and 2. 

Referrer (where the visitor came from, if available) information is used for statistical analysis of web site traffic, and is for internal use only. We use the data collected to know  where to advertise CoolClub4Girlz.com.

3. Parental Consent

We encourage all visitors under thirteen years of age to ask their parents first before signing up for newsletters, using the chat room, and ordering products from our web site.  This is done via the reminders we place on all pages of the CoolClub4Girlz.com web site that say the following (or similar) sentence: "Ask your parents first before signing up!"  

The 1998 COPPA law requires obtaining parental consent before anyone can collect, use or disclose any personal information about a child. However, consent is not required when a site is collecting  an email address to:

respond to a one-time request from a child

provide notice to the parent

ensure the safety of the child or the web site

send a newsletter or other information on a regular basis as long as the site notifies the parent and gives then the chance to say no to the arrangement.

CoolClub4Girlz.com abides by all of these requirements. We send out emails announcing our new newsletters, and have a 'unsubscribe' feature that allows the parent to reply to the email, and indicate that they no longer want their child receiving the newsletter or anything else from the site. Parents may also send an email to:

and simply request to have their child removed from the mailing list. We will oblige as soon as we receive the email!

4. Chat Room Policy

The Chat Room (and other upcoming features) are for the use of CoolClub4Girlz.com members only Registrations, parental permission, and a one time only membership fee is required to use the Chat Room. This is done for safety sake. All Chat Room users will have their TCP/IP address stored, their Chat Room conversation(s) monitored and logged, and a copy of the conversation(s) sent to their parent of record on our database. Also, each member will receive a daily email that will allow the member to get into the Chat Room. THis is the only wayt to enter the Member's Area, and use the CHat Room and other "Member's Only" features of the web site.

Cookie
